Shimao Group is an international corporate group mainly devoted itself in real estate and property development area. With its every effort, Shiamo has achieved great success for decades, which paved the way for its leading position in real estate industry of China. In possession of two listed companies in Hongkong and Shanghai respectively, Shimao Group, competent with outstanding achievements, dedicates itself to the areas of real estate, tourism, and hotel, etc.

集团业务主体由“世茂地产”、“世茂国际”及“世茂股份”三间公司组成,其中世茂国际及世茂股份已成功在香港和上海主板市场上市。世茂地产的IPO工作正在紧锣密鼓的进行中。
Three pillars of “Shimao Property”, “Shimao International”, and “Shimao Stock” have underpinned the main business operation of the Group, among which “Shimao International” and “Shimao Stock” have been successfully listed in Hongkong and Shanghai main board of the stock market. Besides, the “Shimao Property” has been engaged in the process of IPO.

集团在地产开发领域,一直追求卓越、创造。20世纪90年代,集团在北京开发的项目一度占据高端房产市场20%份额。在众多建成及在建项目中,北京亚运花园、华澳中心、紫竹花园、御景园多次获得“北京明星楼盘”称号,华澳中心还荣获“1996年首都十佳公共建筑设计奖”。自21世纪初,集团开始将业务领域扩展至上海,并在中国大陆首创“滨江模式”和“全球销售”理念,将房地产的开发与自然生态和城市形象联系起来,世茂开发的每个项目几乎都成为了当地城市的宣传名片,不仅为项目当地引进了国际资金,更促进了国际间经济、文化交流,提升了城市形象。在上海开发的世茂滨江花园于2001-2004连续四年蝉联“上海市住宅销售金额名”。
Shimao Group, as always, spares no time in pursuit of excellent performance and extraordinary marks. In 1990s, the projects exploited by the Group in Beijing have been accounted for 20% of the total deluxe real estate market share at the time. Among all the projects, either accomplished or under construction, “Beijing Yayun Garden”, “Hua’ao Center”, “Zizhu Garden”, and “Yujing Garden” have been awarded “Star Real Estate Projects in Beijing” for several times. Further more, “Hua’ao Center” has been honored “1996 Top 10 Public Construction Engineering Award in the Capital”.
At the dawn of the 21st century, Shimao has expanded its business into Shanghai, when initiated the concepts of “Riviera Mode” and “Global Sales”, which has integrated property development into natural ecologic environment and city image built-up. Almost all the projects exploited by Shimao Group are viewed as the name card of the city, which not only helps finance the local cities, but propels the international economic and cultural exchanges, and thus enhances the city images as well. The Shanghai Shimao Riviera Garden has been crowned on the list of “Shanghai Housing Sales Amount” from 2001 to 2004 successively.

With the initiative thoughts of “Riviera Mode” in Mainland China and the active practices of “Global Sales” and “Harmonious Residence”, Shimao has made more than contribution to the upgrading of residential concepts and the raising of living quality. Wherever Shimao leaves its footprints, there is a landmark building left behind, due to its assiduous efforts and creative thoughts. 最近三年,世茂集团在中国内地良好的经济环境下,更加如虎添翼,成长迅速。2003年至2005年,集团房地产预售收入分别达到:27.7亿、41.5亿、80.2亿港元,2006年更将预计达120亿港元。集团资产总规模已达500亿港元,而整体资产负债率一直保持在30%左右非常稳健的比例.在销售业绩节节增长的同时,集团又荣获“2004年中国超级品牌”并荣登“城市运营商50强”榜单首位。世茂,始终以创新、前瞻的地产开发思维,以“成就城市梦想”为己任,实践“城市经营者”的理想,投身于推动城市化进程的大业。
Over the past three years, under the sound economic sphere of Mainland China, Shimao has been growing up at a hectic pace. From 2003 to 2005, the pre-sales revenue has reached HK$ 2,770 million, HK$ 4,150million, HK$ 8,020 million respectively. In 2006, the figure is expected to be HK$ 12 billion. The asset of the Group in total has reached HK$ 50 billion, whilst the overall debt rate has been kept sound around 30%. Achieving the ever increasing sales volume, the Group has been awarded “2004 China Super Brands” and has ranked No.1 on the list of “Top 50 City Operators”. Under the strategies of innovation and foresight, with the commitment of “Accomplishing Urban Dreams” as always, via practicing the ideal of “City Operator”, Shimao Group has dedicated into the grand cause of propelling urbanization.
